A: Generally, IEL offers Kenworth W900s, Kenworth T2000s, Freightliner Columbias, and Volvo 670s.
Q: What types of engines are available?
A: IEL's Kenworths and Volvos all have Cummins ISX engines; IEL's Freightliners have Detroit 60 Series engines
Q: What types of transmissions are available?
A: Generally, Eaton transmissions with 9 and 10 speeds
Q: Does IEL offer used equipment for lease or purchase?
A: Yes.
Q: Does IEL equipment have air conditioning?
A: Yes, of course. After all, we are based in Arizona.
Q: Does IEL equipment have cruise control?
A: Yes
Q: Does IEL equipment have Jake Breakes?
A: Generally, yes.
Q: Does IEL require a down payment or security deposit?
A: Generally, yes. We have plans that require as little as $500 to get started.
Q: Is IEL owned by Swift Transportation?
A: No
Q: What are my options at the end of the lease?
A: There are three (3) options at the end of a successful lease:
(1) Purchase the truck for the stated residual value;
(2) Trade for a new tractor (Generally, IEL will pay your down payment and apply Customer Loyalty Dollars to the new equipment lease agreement);
(3) Turn the truck in.
Q: Can I take my tractor to any carrier I choose?
A: No. The carrier must be approved by IEL. If the equipment is moved from an approved carrier, the lease will automatically default.

A: Based on years of experience, we believe the critical success factors are:
(1) Productivity--IEL only partners with proven carriers that provide good, consistent miles to their owner-operator fleet.
